AGE OR ERA: Late art deco / early mid-century transition piece. Estimating circa 1940's

MARKINGS: None that I could find - but unmistakeable German look

METAL / MATERIAL: Aluminum, dark toning or Eloxal finish to really make the design stand out , and mother of pearl shell

CLASP / CLOSURE: Spring ring clasp

MEASUREMENTS: The chain is over 22" long - I measure about 22.5" and the pendant is aprox 1 3/4" across - just the mother of pearl centerpiece is about 1 1/4" in diameter

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I am guessing this to be 1940's in age. The second or more modern historical trend or wave of aluminum or Aluminum Eloxal jewelry was made roughly between 1945 and 1965. Production of aluminum jewelry was first noted as early as c 1850 to 1880, and it was considered to be more precious or valuable than gold at the time as it was very expensive, affording it to only the wealthiest

CONDITION: Great vintage condition - no damage or quirks found to mention. In an excellent state of preservation and should provide many more years of enjoyment.
