Vintage Sterling Silver Danish Scandinavian Mod Cufflinks - Designed by Johan Rohde and Crafted by Georg Jensen - Linear Geometric Pattern

Scandinavian Modernist sterling silver cufflinks:

* Rohde favored controlled form and lines, compared to Jensens art nouveau look - after their first work commissiont together knew they made a good match and continued as the only two in the silversmithy shop in the earliest years

* In true Scandinavian mid century modern style - classic simplistic lines and small details that come together to make a large impact

* Fully hallmarked with several stamps -
George Jensen in an oval circle with 23 dots around the border
STERLING DENMARK to the right hand side
60 B on the reverse side of the bar

* Sturdy solid silver bodies with layered looking geometric linear pattern - flip backs with coordinating design

* Original finish and patina - Lovely coloring and shading to the silver that only time and use can provide

ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True original authentic vintage pieces. Broadly first half of the 20th century

METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = 925/1000 content as marked

CLOSURE/CLASP = Whale back links with a gentle curve to the bar

MARKS = See description and photos - along the both sides of the fixed bar portion

MEASUREMENTS = About an inch long - difficult to gauge due to the curved shape. Round tops are 11/16" in diameter

WEIGHT = 14.4 grams on my scale

CONDITION = Fantastic vintage condition - no damage or quirks found to mention.
